He began his acting career in 2006 with a parallel lead role in the show Stree Teri Kahaani and followed it with roles in less successful shows like Doli Saja Ke (2007) and Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar (2007), before starring in the popular family drama shows Saas Bina Sasural (2010) . In March 2014, Dubey got the male lead in Zee television’s soap opera Jamai Raja, in which he plays the role of Siddharth “Sid” Khurana opposite Nia Sharma which made him overnight star in TV Industry.
